Department Overview:

StudentPrint is a student-run, non-profit business where each team member is fully committed to the success of the business and accomplishing both personal and professional goals. All team members are responsible for handling daily operations and activities within a fast paced environment, which include customer service, completing print orders, interacting with a broad customer base and taking part in team or individual projects. These projects are based on your interests and could include marketing, product research, evaluating financial aspects, management, inventory, cost analysis, updating technology and software or anything else you’re interested in! Team members at StudentPrint gain lifetime knowledge, experiences and friends.

Job start date: Training during April, working during the summer

Summer hours: Monday-Friday 10:00am-4:30pm. Semester hours: Monday-Friday from 9:30am-5:30pm

Other qualifications:

-    Hours:

  • New team members must be able to commit between 15-29.5 hours per week during the summer
  • During the fall and spring semesters, team members would be expected to work between 10-15 hours per week
    • Schedules are created around your class and personal schedules and are set for the semester
    • Finals week scheduled are created separately and are based on your finals schedule

-    Must be a student at the University of Wisconsin – Madison

-    Minimum time commitment of three semesters (summer counts as one semester)

-    Work study not required, but appreciated

-  This position will be training in late April and will then work during the summer

  • Point of Sale system
  • Lamination machine
  • Cutting machine
  • Binding machines


  • Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Quickbooks
  • Google docs
