Position Summary/Job Duties:

TITLE: Market Research Analyst Intern DEPARTMENT: Marketing & Communications

Position Overview: This internship position offers hands-on experience in market research and digital analytics. The intern will work closely with the Associate Director of marketing and brand strategy to analyze data and uncover insights that drive membership growth, improve user experiences, and refine the Societies’ digital strategy. This is an hourly internship position with flexible hours.

Primary Responsibilities:

Analyze website and marketplace performance data to uncover trends and insights (e.g., clickstream, user behavior, and UX performance).

Assist in the development and management of digital reporting across multiple channels: website, search, paid media, social media, email, and SMS.

Support A/B and multivariate testing initiatives, compiling and presenting insights, including high-level summaries and key takeaways.

Assist in the creation, testing, and analysis of email marketing campaigns, including managing marketing lists and tracking campaign performance metrics.

Collaborate with the marketing team to turn ideas into actionable test plans, gather requirements, and define success metrics.

Provide analyses of campaign performance and assist with ad-hoc requests, offering recommendations for future programs.

Assist in identifying opportunities to improve customer conversion and reduce friction across digital touchpoints.

Help configure and manage digital analytics tools, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Google Search Console, and Feathr.

Organize, format, and analyze data in Excel spreadsheets to identify trends, insights, and actionable recommendations for market research project

Conduct usability assessments and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.

Analyze e-commerce performance, tracking data and suggesting opportunities to optimize membership growth.

Help track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across digital marketing channels.

Assist in creating and delivering training for departments on analytics tools like Click Dimensions.

Additional Information:

This is an hourly internship position with flexible hours based in our office in Fitchburg, WI

The internship may require up to one week of travel per year for meetings or conferences, depending on scheduling needs.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

Strong interest in market research, data analysis, and digital marketing.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with different teams across the organization.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Creative problem-solver with a solutions-focused approach.

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, or digital marketing platforms is a plus, but not required.
