Fridays 4p-6p (Mandatory) Sat/Sun Availability (Mandatory) Holiday and Break availability (preferred) Guaranteed Friday Hours, plus additional hours available Saturday and Sundays, or scattered throughout the week based on other staff availability

Qualifications:
Dedicated team player who excels in customer service. Empathetic and is able to keep a calm head in crisis situations. Able to jump in and learn on the fly. Excels in a sometimes fast pasted environment, and ability to use independent judgement.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Customer Service skills required, Computer skills required, phone call etiquette or phone customer service experience, medical terminology helpful but not required, Helpful can-do attitude, ready to work as part of a team
Position Summary/Job Duties:
As part of the reception team you will help field phone calls for emergency appointments from concerned pet parents or all types i.e. small, exotic, farm/equine, enter and collect personal information over the phone and in-person and enter into the electronic medical record system under established policies and procedures, check clients/patients in and out while collecting necessary documents, assist with stockings supplies, cleaning/straightening, etc. accept and log all payments into the payment system, other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
Ability to sit for extended periods of time, occasional lifting, walking, bending, stooping, etc. Able to use a computer and telephone
