Department Overview:

MERIT is responsible for providing technology solutions to students, faculty and staff across the many buildings that are part of UW-Madison's School of Education.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Review and address incoming technology issues in our ticketing system.
Unpack new computers and prepare them for deployment to our users.
Walk between rooms for weekly tech wellness checks.
Reclaim and erase old systems for recycling.
Shadow full-time tech staff in the field to assist and learn.
Respond to immediate IT/AV requests in our rapid-response channel.

Physical Demands:

Able to lift up to 25 pounds
Capable of traversing outdoors between multiple buildings
Sitting for extended periods using a computer
