Schedule:
Dog Haus University offers a flexible schedule to fit around your class commitments! Shifts are available in the morning, mid-day, and afternoon on Mondays through Fridays.
Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:
$10.00 to $12.00 per hour

Qualifications:
Passion for animal care and providing activities for dogs
Positive attitude and friendly disposition
Attentive, observant, and detail-oriented
Preference for experience with dog training or an interest in dog training
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
Physically able to secure and handle large dogs
Physically able to handle cleaning and minor maintenance
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Primary duties will include:
Lead, monitor and manage groups of dogs
Use verbal cues, body blocking and proactive intervention to manage group interactions
Spend time interacting with each dog individually and set dogs up for success by knowing their limits, play styles and help signals
Initiate activities and games with dogs keeping arousal levels low while everyone has fun
Record and report accurate info on the status, activities, health & behavior of each dog to pet parents and the Daycare Manager
Assist with handling guests (dogs) at check-in and check-out
Greet new clients (people) explain the program and the benefits for their dog
Clean/sanitize play and common areas, and crates or suites
Document, store and organize guests' food, medications and belongings
Secondary duties may include:
Prepare and distribute meals, treats, fresh water and medications (if needed)
Do dishes and laundry
