Process & Timeline:
To participate in Work Study Direct Placement program you must have a Work Study Award and you must first complete the quick Application of Interest. This application will require for you to submit a resume. These materials will allow for us to match you to opportunities that can best capitalize on your passions and interests. In addition, you will have the chance to review all employment opportunities offered through the program while indicating your preferences for part-time work. Once submitted, your Application of Interest will be reviewed and at least one employment opportunity will be offered to you. Please note you will be guaranteed an employment opportunity from the program, but we cannot guarantee the employment opportunity will be in your top preferences. Be sure to get your Application of Interest submitted prior to the priority deadline of September 4th, 2019. Applications will still be accepted after the priority deadline and employment opportunities will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. Employment opportunities will vary throughout the process.
All students who submit a Application of Interest by the above deadline will receive notification of the employment opportunities within 1 or 2 weeks. There will then be a specified deadline to formerly accept your part-time employment offer. From there the specific hiring departments will reach out to you and begin the hiring as well as on-boarding process so that you are set to begin working by your specified start date.
