Anticipated Hours Per Week:

During the summer, 30-40 hours per week. After summer, negotiable.


The schedule is flexible between 8am-6pm.

Be enrolled as a UW-Madison undergraduate student. Classroom/work experience in biology is preferred but we will train on all lab protocol.  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

The ability to work independently after training, reliable and consistent schedule, and attention to detail.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

  1. Help lab chores, such as washing dishes
  2. Fish feeding (1 hour/day for two or three times per week)
  3. Help research for tissue regeneration study
  4. Molecular work: Subcloning, genotyping, etc
  5. Zebrafish work: Injection, imaging, etc
  6. Cellular work: staining, imaging, etc

Some of work is moderately physically demanding - lifting 10 L aquarium tanks.
