Department Overview:

The Mathematics Department is in the Collee of Letters & Science at the University of Wisconsin Madison.

Anticipated Start Date:

 September 8, 2021

Anticipated End Date (If Applicable):

 January 5, 2022

Remote Work Eligibility Detail:

In some cases, it may be possible to work remotely, but this will be at the discretion of the course instructor.


Anticipated Hours Per Week:

5-10 is typical, but it varies a lot.


 You must grade assignments and record grades in a timely manner, usually weekly, but you grade on your own time.

Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:

 $21.57 per hour

Number of Positions:

 Approx. 40


 Preference is given to graduate students, but undergraduates are encouraged to apply -- we usually hire a decent number of undergrad math majors.  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 Must have demonstrated success in relevant math courses.  Must be responsible and a prompt communicator

Position Summary/Job Duties:

 Grading regular HW and/or quizzes.  In some cases, you may work together with the instructor to grade exams.
