Department Overview:
Pediatrics. We are a basic research lab focused on fungal infection models.

10–25 hours per week
Schedule:
Minimum 10 - 15 hr. per week (more hours may be available during the Summer). Work times are flexible, to work around classes (Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 6 PM), but some work time should be in blocks greater than 3 hrs. Especially interested in students who can start during summer and continue through school year.
Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:
$10.00/hr

Qualifications:
•Applicant must be a current or incoming UW student and continuing at least through Spring 2024.
•Federal Work-Study funding required.
•Classroom and work experience in sterile technique and general laboratory procedures is beneficial, but training will be provided, as necessary, for specific protocols.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Job duties include preparation of media for tissue culture and microbiology, preparation of laboratory solutions and general laboratory maintenance.
