The compensation for the study is $10/hr.

Participants must be over 18 and have normal vision (able to read without eye glasses or contact lenses).

Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are interested in studying the gaze behavior of normally sighted people when they are reading. 

If you sign up for our study, we will conduct a brief phone screen interview to verify eligibility. The study will take place at our lab (Rm1207) in the CS department on campus. If you agree to be in the study, you will be asked to perform a series of screen-based tasks, such as target tracking and reading, on a computer. After the tasks, you will be interviewed by our team about your experience performing tasks. Each study session will last about 90 minutes and you might be asked to participate in multiple sessions. You will get monetary compensation of $10/hr for participating in our study.

During the study, we will record the video of you performing tasks and collect your eye-tracking data. All the data collected will only be used for research purpose within our research team at UW-Madison, and NO personally identifiable data will be shared to any other entity.
