Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled at UW–Madison • Technical savvy • Ability to learn new technology • Keen attention to detail and good organizational skills
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
• Experience in beta testing • Familiarity with Course Management Systems (e.g., Desire2Learn, Moodle, or Canvas) • Experience with developing videos/screencasts
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Educational Technology Assistants will: • Assist the PDS Online administrator with operations of the system • Design technical support documents and demo videos • Add content and images to Pressbooks • Beta test projects • Assist in the review and documentation of quarterly releases • Test new features of the system • Edit and add captions to videos in Kaltura • Coordinate the set up of new computers and help maintain the inventory • Support staff on technical literacy
