Qualifications:

Due to the evaluations and exams that student hourlies are exposed to, we are not able to accept applications from students studying Social Work or Social Welfare.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Powerpoint, and Box to assist staff with projects or tasks

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Responsibilities include:
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Powerpoint, and Box to assist staff with projects or tasks
• Greeting students, faculty, staff, and other campus members in person
• Opening and closing the building
• Delivering, picking up, and distributing internal mail and packages for the department
* Pick up SRSSW packages and supplies from MSC’s loading dock (1300 University Ave)
* Make deliveries and pick-ups to other departments as needed
• Assisting department staff with making copies, filing, faxing, and scanning
• Learning computer programs to assist with data entry
• Maintaining and/or creating spreadsheets, reports, and logs as needed
• Checking in/out department laptops/equipment to faculty and staff as needed
* Deliver laptops from 3rd floor mailroom to 2nd floor workroom for the Part-Time MSW Program on Friday afternoons and return them to the 3rd floor on Mondays.
* Other equipment that may be checked out: microphones, cameras, tripods, clickers, headphones, etc.
• Assisting faculty and staff members with special and/or specific projects
* Uploading information to the school’s website and server, captioning the school’s Youtube videos and printing group mailings, etc.
• Delivering administrative envelopes to Bascom Hall, South Hall and 21 N. Park Street.

Physical Demands:

light lifting occasionally, less than 25 pounds
