Students are expected to complete problem sets that apply the economic, political, and legal concepts discussed in the course; two (2) 1-page policy memos on an assigned topic; and a group project on a quasi-chosen topic concerning consumer policy, which entails the following: delivering a topic proposal, project proposal, 1-page policy memo, a 5-minute presentation, and a critique of another group’s memo. Current public affairs graduate students will receive priority consideration, followed by graduate students with prior credentials in public policy, public affairs, or public administration.
