The mathematics department of an urban, comprehensive public high school.

Minimum: 4 Maximum: 15

Schedule:

Hours flexible between 8:15 am and 5:00 pm Monday-Friday.

Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:

Minimum: $17.00 Maximum: $18.00

Qualifications:

MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR FEDERAL WORK-STUDY FINANCIAL AID.
Should be enrolled in or have completed at least one undergraduate mathematics course. Please attach/upload your resume, outlining your previous paid or volunteer experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experience working with youth in an academic setting.
Some knowledge of computer-based or calculator graphing utilities.
Bilingualism (Spanish, Hmong, Wolof) is a plus but not required.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Meet with students or assist in classes twice a week consistently.

Communicate with faculty regarding the needs and progress of individual students.
