The UW-Madison Information Technology Academy (ITA) seeks an enthusiastic graduate project assistant who is interested in teaching academic support courses and assisting high school students as they develop into competitive applicants for admission to UW-Madison. ITA is an innovative pre-college program for high school students in the state of Wisconsin. Currently, ITA has programs in Madison, Lac du Flambeau, and Oneida, WI. Through a focus on technology exploration, leadership development, and college preparation, ITA offers high school students the skills, resources, and support needed to become strong candidates for admission to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The ITA Graduate Project Assistant will receive a monthly stipend, tuition remission (resident or non-resident), eligibility for health insurance, and paid time off.

The course provides an introduction to Wisconsin School of Business and undergraduate program resources and covers self-assessment and awareness, academic/career exploration and development, leadership skills development, and diversity and inclusion. PPFB Instructors serve as a resource, mentor and guide student facilitators who are concurrently leading the one-credit PPFB course sections. The Evaluation PA will assist in evaluating CTLM programs and services to explore their impact and seek program improvements. The Evaluation PA will observe, interview, and engage with faculty, instructional staff, and CTLM staff. Because of the nature of the work, the expected work modality is primarily on site with some flexibility to work remotely at agreed-upon times.
