Schedule:
We are open 6:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday- no weekend or evening hours required!!
8 hour shifts.
Hours will vary based on schedule desired (full or part time).
Additional opportunities for employment after the summer camp ends may be available in our After School Program if desired.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Kids Junction is a state licensed Christian child care center located on the west side of Madison, WI. We are currently looking for energetic and fun loving teachers for our summer camp program. Each week of our camp has a theme that includes indoor and outdoor games, craft projects and weekly fieldtrips. Our summer camp is one of the most popular camps in the Madison area and sells out quickly! See our website at www.madisonsummercamp.com for more information on our camp.
We have both lead and assistant teacher positions available with full time and part time schedules.
Duties include : Supervise school age children, accompany children on field trips, assist with snack and lead daily activities including indoor/outdoor games, craft projects and much more. All materials and lesson plans will be provided.

Qualifications:
Experience with child care preferred but not necessary. Coursework in early childhood or child development is preferred ( education majors are encouraged to apply ) but not required. Willing to complete required certifications and coursework within 90 days of employment (CPR, after school course certification, child abuse and neglect video).
*2-year degree in early childhood or a related field or have completed college coursework in early childhood, the Infant/Toddler, Assistant Teacher and/or Lead Teacher Course (or willing to complete the necessary requirements). Some college coursework already taken may meet this requirement.
*Experience in the fields of early childhood or education (preferred but not required)
*Must demonstrate a passion for helping children develop and grow
*Be age 18 years of age or older
