Department Overview:

Since 2009, Achieving Collaborative Treatment (ACT) has been serving children and young adults on the autism spectrum in South Central Wisconsin. Our mission is to provide top-tier behavior analytic services to autistic individuals and their families. We work collaboratively with families and schools to design and implement an individualized age-appropriate treatment plan for each client.

Anticipated Hours Per Week

6 to 25

Schedule:

Shifts available Monday-Friday, 8:30am-6:30pm as well as weekend. Schedules are very flexible and range from 6-25 hours a week based on your schedule and the desired number of hours you want to work. We can work around your class schedule. 

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $15.00 to $18.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

**$250 SIGN ON BONUS**

We are looking for fun-loving and caring individuals to join our team to mentor and provide support for autistic individuals.  This is a wonderful opportunity to serve as a positive role model and support, lead, and encourage children to build lasting life skills! In addition, gain valuable work experience for anyone entering educational and medical related fields. We were voted a Top Workplace in 2023 and 2024- many of our staff are current or alumni of UW, including our owners. You will work 1:1 with clients in their home or community setting. Sessions usually run 2-3 hours long. You will introduce and run therapy programs which will be developed for you. No experience needed as we offer paid training. If you enjoy working with kids and want to make a difference in the world - this is the job for you!

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, compassionate, patient and enjoy working with children and young adults
  • Must reside in the Dane County or immediate surrounding area and have access to a vehicle or reliable tranportation
  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma
  • Prefer candidates who can work with us for at least one year

Physical Demands

Must be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run.
