Schedule:

To be decided. Guaranteeing at least 30 hours of work, likely to have some work more concentrated in May initially. If mutually beneficial, open to offering more tasks and opportunities to work (ongoing yard maintenance) over the summer!

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Looking for assistance with yard work this summer. Will include larger installation of flower bed - including digging up dirt, mixing in organic materials, planting plants (all with guidance of course!) hauling materials. Will also include tasks such as helping spread mulch, weeding existing beds, potentially lawn mowing, spreading mulch. 
 

This would be a good job for someone who wants a flexible schedule, might plan to be in Madison this summer, and likes spending time outside! This is not a set-schedule position - hour availability varies based off of tasks needed to be done, but I suspect we have enough yard work for at least 30 hours of work, with potential to continue to help over the summer as needed! 
 

Preference for someone with experience doing yard work, anyone with plant knowledge, or landscaping experience. 
 

Will need transportation to Westmorland neighborhood (near to campus and on a bus line!)

Qualifications:

Able to lift and move heavy objects, able to work outside.

Physical Demands

 Shoveling, lifting heavy objects, moving debris via wheelbarrow, able to spend time low to ground (weed eating), mulching.
