Schedule:
Flexible hours based on your schedule.
Ability to work any number of hours between 7:30am – 5:00pm Monday - Friday.
Availability of 30-40 hours a week preferred during the 2024 Summer months
Availability of 10 - 20 hours a week required during the Fall and Spring semesters
Priority will be given to students who have availability for Summer 2024 and Academic Year 2024-2025.
WORK LOCATION
The office is located at 780 Regent St., Madison, WI
Primarily in Office –After onboarding and training, there may be some opportunities to work remote. Telecommuting agreements are subject to change at any time based on leadership decisions.
Salary/Wage Range:
Hourly $14.00 to $15.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:
This position will be shared between compensation and benefits units to support various data entry, data analysis, and communications projects. Tasks will be varied and will require critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and creative writing skills.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately enter and audit data in a variety of programs and databases.
Create a variety of communications materials based on available materials and additional web-based research.
Draft qualitative and quantitative analysis of data sets.
Assist with the management of Human Resources related records, physical and digital.
Run reports, track various processes, and audit current databases and webpages.
Other administrative support functions and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A good candidate for the Student Compensation & Benefits Assistant position must have the following skills and abilities:
Good communications skills.
Good organizational, time management , and problem-solving skills
Ability to apply judgement and analysis to work performed
Attention detail
Ability to work with a team and independently
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Must be an enrolled technical, undergraduate, or graduate student
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior office and/or data entry experience
Experience with statistical analysis and developing presentations
Graduate student
