Saturdays 11:00am-3:30pm (3-6 hours every other week)

Hourly $17.00 to $20.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead art projects and activities tailored to the age group and interests of the birthday party attendees. Provide step-by-step instructions and guidance to ensure that participants feel supported and inspired.
  2. Encourage creativity and self-expression among participants by fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. Offer encouragement and positive reinforcement to boost confidence and enthusiasm.
  3. Set-Up and Clean-Up: Prepare art materials and set up the designated activity area before the start of each party.  Assist in cleaning up the area and storing materials after each party.
  4. Be flexible and adaptable in responding to the needs and preferences of birthday party hosts and attendees. Tailor art activities to accommodate varying skill levels, interests, and themes.
  5. Interact professionally and courteously with birthday party hosts and guests. Address any questions, concerns, or special requests in a prompt and courteous manner. 

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  1. A passion for art and working with young children.
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Creativity and ability to think on your feet to adapt to the needs and interests of varying ages.
  4. Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  6. Previous experience working with children or in an art-related setting is a plus.
