Schedule:

  • A Barista works at least 12 hours a week with a biweekly, rotating weekend schedule. A schedule should include at least 1 weekend shift and 1 closing shift.
  • Scheduling is flexible and based on academic availability and operational need.
  • Summer hours available based on operational need.

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $15.00 to $15.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

A Dining & Culinary Services Barista is responsible for greeting guests and preparing high quality specialty drinks and coffee beverages for customers in Bean & Creamery locations. Baristas  provide exceptional customer service with the goal of making guests feel welcome and satisfied.

  • Prepare coffee beverages and specialty drinks for customers and guests.
  • Provide product knowledge and information about menu items
  • Stock display case and rotate merchandise as needed
  • Clean and sanitize work area regularly
  • Maintain calm demeanor during periods of high volume.
  • Provide excellent customer service; anticipate and respond to customer needs.
  • Operate cash register/POS system
  • Be a part of a welcoming, respectful food service experience.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
