Schedule:

  • Able to work at least 20 hours per week (hours are flexible) -during school year, up to 30+ hours if desired during summer

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Do you have experience building, disassembling, and or modifying PCs, Raspberry PIs, or IoT devices? We are seeking an IT Intern that is hungry for a challenge, wants to learn something new and has a willingness to roll up their sleeves and make an immediate impact.

Your Day as an IT Intern:

  • Assist with level 1 IT support tickets by helping to identify problems and assist with implementing a fix or solution
  • Provide on-site IT-related asset and equipment set-ups including but not limited to audio-visual systems, laptop computers (PC and Mac), printers, and IoT devices
  • Oversee disassembling PCs and IoT devices, hard drive removal, and assist with technology recycling
  • Assist with new hire onboarding support as it relates to IT equipment and IT-owned software
  • Promote employee adoption of technology and IT services through feedback, communication and learning strategies
  • Create and assist with maintaining employee self-service/troubleshooting content as needed
  • Other general IT administrative tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Working towards or completed a bachelor's degree or associate degree in IT System Administration, IT Network Administration, Computer Science, or related IT degree
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows active directory and Microsoft 365 applications and tools
  • Computer setup and hardware experience (Installing OS, Monitor/peripherals setup)
  • Basic knowledge of and/or experience with PowerShell, and CMD
  • Able to work on-site at our office in Verona, WI
