Hello! We're Ava and Nic, excitedly awaiting the arrival of our first baby in January. We're looking for a caring, dependable nanny to join our family and help care for our little one starting in mid-May 2025, with some occasional support needed beforehand. A bit about us: I work from home full-time, and my husband works outside the home. We have two friendly dogs and live just 25 minutes outside Madison, in a cozy countryside home with plenty of outdoor space for both kids and pets to play. We're an active family who loves spending time outdoors and hope to find someone who shares this enthusiasm for fresh air and fun activities. We'd love for our future nanny to feel like part of our crew! We are committed to providing a supportive environment and are excited to welcome someone who feels at home in our household. Our full-time schedule will typically be 8/9am-4/5pm, but we'll also need occasional assistance as we both transition back to work. Position Summary/Job Duties: | In-Home Nanny Needed for Summer 2025 (Potential for Long-Term)
Hello! We’re looking for a responsible, energetic, and nurturing caregiver to join our family this summer and care for our 4-month-old baby. This full-time position (Monday through Friday, 8/9am–4/5pm) will begin mid-May 2025, with the option to continue beyond the summer if you’re interested in longer-term work. If you’re a college student looking for a fun, hands-on summer job with the potential for ongoing employment and have experience with infants, we’d love to connect!
About the Role: I work from home, so you’ll have support nearby, but primary caregiving will be your responsibility during my work hours. You’ll have plenty of space to care for our baby independently, with room for activities, playtime, and outdoor adventures. Our ideal candidate is active, enjoys spending time outdoors, and is comfortable around dogs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Engaged & Playful: We’d love a caregiver who enjoys engaging with infants, playing, and stimulating early development.
- Independent & Experienced: You should feel confident handling baby essentials independently, including feeding, diaper changes, playtime, and putting our little one down for naps.
- Dog-Friendly: We have two friendly dogs—Opey, a 7-year-old mix, and Birdie, a 2-year-old Belgian Malinois—who love people and may join in the fun! Comfort around dogs is a must.
- Team-Oriented: We’d like someone who feels at home here, as a partner in caregiving rather than simply a coach or assistant.
