1.5 to 2 hour visits up to two times per week

Our dad/husband (and his wife) have had positive experiences with allied health profession students through years of Ballroom Basics for Balance participation in Madison.  But he could continue to improve with your help on any or all of the following:  strength and balance exercise; extending outdoor walks; falls prevention; work with money and purchasing (groceries, coffee or lunches out); calendar management, sequencing practice through games or hobbies;  daily life skills coaching;  strategies and hacks with technology such as IPhone, tv apps and remotes.  Our guy is wise, kind, eminently coachable and has a nice sense of humor.

We have prior professional experience in writing letters of recommendation based on solid work performance for students who are going on to graduate school or into the workforce.

Students or graduates in the fields of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Kinesiology

Feel  free to apply as one applicant or as a 2 person team.  We understand the complexities and burden of these courses of study.  Because it is at most a 4 hour commitment per week, we can be flexible in matching classes and activities with our schedule.
