Hours:

  • *Monday-Thursday: 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
  • **Flexible mid-day Saturday & Sunday: 3-4 hours (if available) 

*There is some flexibility in the hours; while 4:30-6:30pm is preferred, 5:00-7:00pm would work, as well. Additionally, if you are only available for most of the days but not M-Th, that is also workable. If you are interested and still feel you might be a fit, we’d love to hear from you. 

**If you are only available for weeknight support, that is okay; it is not necessary to be available for Saturday/Sunday support to apply. Similarly vise versa.  

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $20.00 to $23.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

About the Family: 

A kind mother and her three children (5y girl, 3y girl and 5m boy) are in need of part-time evening support. The main support is to help with dinner prep, engaging with the two older children, and helping transition to bedtime routines. Also seeking weekend help for 3-4 hours mid-day Saturday and Sunday. Two people may fill positions to help during the week and separately for the weekend. The family is navigating post-loss/post-trauma, seeking a compassionate and reliable nanny/family helper. The family includes one child with some neurodivergent tendencies, and we value experience or training in related fields and compassion. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and nurturing care for children (predominantly 3yo and 5yo girls) 
  • Assist with evening routines and activities 
  • Flexible opportunity for mid-day Saturday/Sunday help (if available) 
  • Support the family in a meaningful and impactful way

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with young children, especially those with neurodivergence and/or trauma 
  • Training or exposure to occupational therapy, social work, special education, child development, cognitive science, neurology, or similar fields may be highly beneficial 
  • Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature 
  • Record of reliable commitment
