Department Overview:

Beomor Farm is a semi-private premier boarding facility in the Madison area. We offer large pastures, fresh water, continuous feeding, constant companionship and plenty of shelter to support well-adjusted, healthy, happy horses. For the people we have a heated lounge and bathroom, wash stall, large tack room, bright 80x160 insulated indoor arena, sound system, round pen, outdoor dressage arena, outdoor working equitation arena and 225 acres with riding trails. Spring, summer and fall we offer clinics with local and national clinicians in a variety of good horsemanship disciplines.

Schedule:

8am to 11am OR 2pm to 5pm winter hours and 3pm to 6pm (after daylight savings) 2-4 times per week depending on your avail

Additional hours may be available with us or our other farm Four Winds

There are several summer positions with 30+ hours per week that are a possibility to advance 

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $16.00 to $16.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Horse care including feeding, handling, manure picking and management outdoors & cleaning in the barn. Our horses live outside in a dry lot/pasture routine year-round but come into stalls when the weather is severe. Would need applicants that are going to remain in the area over most of the semester and as this is a year-round position we would prefer at least a 1 year commitment. We have happy well cared for horses and this position offers a great opportunity to work with two amazing farm operations. 

Qualifications:

Responsible individuals that can work independently as well as with our farm team

Ability to work outside in all sorts of weather

Reliable transportation 

Horse care experience a big plus

Physical Demands

Able to lift 50-75 lbs, climb in and out of vehicles, frequent bending and lifting and work outside in all types of conditions
