Department Overview:

Madison Neuropsychological Services is growing mental health private practice that provides neuropsychological evaluations and psychotherapy services to the Madison and surrounding areas. We are located within a large medically orientated office building on the west-side of Madison, conveniently located just off of Mineral Point Road, near highway 12/18 (the Madison Beltline). The facility has ample on-site parking as well as other amenities (newly renovated restrooms, large conference room, staff lunch/break room). Position Summary/Job Duties:

  • Under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, the psychometrist administers and scores a comprehensive battery of psychological and neuropsychological tests to evaluate patient cognitive abilities, aptitudes, achievement, personality, and psychological status.
  • Observes behavior and reactions of individuals being tested. Documents, compiles, and reports observation findings to psychologist.
  • Utilizes computerized scoring software, word processing, and database programs to prepare patient background information, summary of test results, patient participation and effort in testing, and related behavioral observations.
  • Assists the licensed psychologist in writing the background section of the neuropsychological report.
  • A minimum of a one-year commitment to MNS is strongly preferred.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree is required. No prior experience necessary; we are willing to train.
