Position Summary/Job Duties:

Family looking for summer care for out 8 year old autistic girl. We are a neuroaffirming family and would prefer someone with some experience with knowledge of neurodivergence.

Our daughter can be shy at first but is incredibly sweet, smart, and funy. She loves art, animals, customizing toys, and inventing new games to play. She also loves to share her interests with those she feels comfortable with.

We are looking for someone who can come weekday afternoons from around 12 or 1pm to 4 or 5pm.

We have a swing set in the backyard and there are several parks within easy walking distance.

Qualifications:

An ideal candidate would have some experience babysitting or working with children, be comfortable playing with kids inside and outside, Taking them on walks, and possibly to local venues (parks or the zoo or the splash pad, for example) and be a good/open communicator. Someone who has some prior experience interacting with autistic or neurodivergent people or is open to learning!

Physical Demands

Physically able to support our child in daily living activities.
