Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are a family looking for some support during the summer daytime hours, primarily on Mondays, Tuesdays, and/or Wednesdays (7/25-9/25) with our three year old son and five year old son and then continuing with our three year old son (9/25-7/26). We live right next door to a park that they love to go to, we have an art and craft cart, many books to read, toys to play with, library and ice cream shop down the road, and trails nearby that have beautiful scenary to explore. The boys both love to play, have a good sense of humor and enjoy joking around, enjoy working through their BrainQuest workbooks throughout the day, and enjoy talking about their thoughts, feelings, and experiences as well as overall enjoyment around leanring new things. The five year old will be present July 2025 through August 2025 and then it will go back to only the three year old during the day while the five year old is in school. Job includes:

  • Supervising and caring for children
  • Preparing lunch and/or snacks for children
  • Taking part in age-appropriate activities such as the playground, coloring, pretend play, reading, etc.
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to children
  • Communicating about child's development and any issues that may arise

Qualifications:

*At least six months of experience in childcare preferred

*Experience with respiratory issues a plus

*Knowledge around CPR, Child Development, and Social/Emotional Communication preferred

Physical Demands

Can pick up 30-40 pounds at times
