We will need the most help in May and June (invasive clearing, mowing, etc.), and September (plant installation and mulching). It's likely that July/August will need no help or be very light (mowing, weeding, etc).

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Seeking part-time/occasional help with our yard in Monona! We care deeply about restoring native habitats and supporting local wildlife, and our current main project is removing invasive species by digging out a good portion of our yard. Additional tasks may include mowing, trimming, mulching, and occasional weeding. Potential to help install a native plant garden as well. All materials (shovel, mower, etc.) will be provided. Pay is $18-$25/hr depending on expertise.
Schedule very flexible! Our home is right on the Lake Loop bike path, near Maywood Park and is fairly easy to get to from East or Downtown Madison.
If you enjoy working outdoors, getting a little dirty, and helping the planet in a small but meaningful way, please consider applying!
Qualifications:
-Willingness to get dirty and do physical work like digging, bending, weeding, lawn mowing, and mulching (shoveling and hauling mulch around in wheel barrow).
-Experience with basic yardwork
-Experience with more extensive landscaping, or other "handy" work is great but not required
-Care for the planet
