Position Summary/Job Duties:
Family of four looking for a part-time Babysitter/Respite Provider for our four-year-old daughter with autism. A typical day looks like playtime, one snacktime, and letting her two-year-old little sister (neurotypical) join in on the fun. Please be open to out-of-home services (walks to the park, library visits, Henry Vilas Zoo, etc.). A parent (primarily Mom) will always be home during provider hours.
Our daughter is a happy, sweet toddler, who loves to build, play pretend, dance, run around, and be silly. Favorite activities include her play kitchen, magnatiles, coloring, Play-Doh, dinosaurs, bubbles, and babies.
Qualifications:
Experience in childcare, preferably with disabled children.
Be a UW Undergraduate or Graduate student (preferred programs include Education, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech Therapy, or a related field).
Have reliable transportation.
Have a COVID vaccination.
Be able to pass a background check.
