ISO Full-Time Nanny - Start Date: August 25, 2025
We are looking for a longterm, reliable, experienced, and loving full-time nanny to care for our two young children (ages 9 months and 4 years)—plus our sweet elderly Morkie dog!
Work hours: 4 days a week, between 32-40 hours per week typically from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. No weekends or holidays.
Location: We live on the Westside by Target on Junction Road.
About our family: my husband is currently a 4th-year medical student at UW-Madison. I work at UPH-Meriter. We love getting outdoors, hiking, and visiting the farmer’s markets on the weekends. Along with our two boys, we also have a 16-year-old Morkie named Gizmo. We are an LGBTQ+ ally.
Our toddler will be starting full-time 4K Tuesday-Friday in the Fall (Sept. 2nd). Our nanny will mostly be responsible for our 9 month old and our toddler after pick up from his 4K school/bus stop.
We need someone punctual, has good communication skills, and has a pitch-in attitude. Our ideal nanny would plan activities, light cleaning, doing the children’s laundry and putting their laundry away, and light meal prepping. All activities and outings will be paid for or recompensated. We also expect our nanny to help take our dog out for bathroom breaks when he signals. Driving the kids is required for school or other activities.
Salary starts at $20+/hour depending on experience and will include accrued paid-time off, paid Holidays, and gas reimbursement. We use Poppins Payroll system.
Ideal candidate must have at minimum:
Experience with young children
Genuine passion for working with children
Up to date on all vaccinations
Current CPR and first aid certification
Pass a background check
A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record.
Clean and hygienic
Non-smoker and in good health
Comfortable with dogs
Okay with a parent occasionally being home
Willing to do light housework (tidying toys, kids’ laundry, cleaning up after meals, etc.)
Three professional references.
