Position Summary/Job Duties:
The Role: QA Analyst Intern
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst Intern to join our team. You will play a vital role in upholding the quality and integrity of our systems, ensuring that our products meet the highest medical and regulatory standards.
This is a key position where you will link technical QA principles directly to biomedical impact. The initial role, will center around aiding in preparing and overviewing a Electronic Data Capture (EDC) software to our requirements for upcoming animal and patient clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities:
System Testing
Design, write, and execute test cases for software systems used in our manufacturing process, clinical data collection, and internal operations.
Quality Verification
Verify that data and systems related to our nanocomposite dressing manufacturing and R&D meet documented specifications and quality controls.
Defect Management
Identify, document, and track software and data defects, working with engineers to ensure timely and effective resolutions.
Process Improvement
Assist in implementing and maintaining procedures that align with medical device Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Other
There may be other tasks that are not strictly within the scope of the job tasks, that may be required to be fulfilled as per the needs of the company.
Qualifications:
What You'll Bring:
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Foundational knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) principles and methodologies.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to write and analyze Unit Tests, and experience with integration and regression testing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Communication, and moreover proactive communication, is essential in the startup world.
Responsible and consistent mindset. Startups require a level of independence, and while we understand most applicants will have school, and other roles, we expect a relatively consistent availability (10-15 hours a week), and prior notice for any planned absence, hours worked can be chosen by the candidate.
