Position Summary/Job Duties:

Do you like watching birds and playing Scrabble? Do you want to help an older woman live independently in her apartment on the south central side of Madison? 

Our family seeks a senior companion for 5-10 hours per week to do the following tasks with/for her:

  • light housekeeping; changing the bed; some laundry; take out trash
  • simple meal preparation, dishes, and kitchen clean-up
  • companionship and support
  • medication check for self-administered medications
  • transportation for errands, shopping, medical appointments (a vehicle is provided; infrequent task)

Requirements:

  • valid driver's license
  • responsible and caring
  • health care experience preferred

Payment:

$20-22 per hour
