Position Summary/Job Duties:

Thanks for checking out my job posting!  Below, I’ve tried to give you some essential information, but please reach out to me with any questions!!  Have a great day!

What:  Part-time nanny for my sons for eight hours a week; split into two four hour segments.

When:  Four hours of chilcare two days a week...the days and timing are flexible...my ideal time would be from 8:30am-12:30pm twice a week.  If your schedule permitted it, we would also be interested in an occasional date night during the week or on the weekend. The job can continue into the summer, if you are interested and available.  I am looking for part-time childcare long-term to make homeschool more manageable.

Where:  We live near Maple Grove and McKee Road in a single family home with a fenced in yard.  We have one very sweet dog.

Pay: $22 per hour

A LITTLE ABOUT OUR FAMILY…

I am a stay at home mom who homeschools my oldest son.  Ideally, I would like to find someone who could come from 8:30am to 12:30pm two days a week.  During this time, I would have you watch my younger two boys (2 and 4), while I worked with our oldest son on school, and, part of the time, I would have you watch all three so I could go for a run.  Ideally, you would be comfortable driving our van and taking the younger two boys to the Children's Musuem, library, zoo, or other local attractions.  We have four great parks within walking distance.  The days of the week and the exact timing can be flexible, depending on your class schedule.

Our Catholic faith is extremely important to our family. We are very involved in our parish.  As a mother, I am more laid back than most and certainly not over protective. I like for my boys to play outside as much as possible and climb trees and jump off things, even if it means they get dirty and a scraped knee or a bruise now and then. I am strict with respect.  I expect my boys to respect any babysitter who comes into our house and you are fully authorized to give them timeouts/non-violent consequences.  I also work hard to keep our house clean and organized.  I am looking for a babysitter who will enforce my expectations that they pick up after themselves.

Qualifications:

I would love to find a sitter who enjoys spending time outside and likes the idea of taking our boys on adventures.

Application Instructions:

Please email me some about yourself and your experience with children, including your resume. Why are you interested in this job?  What are you looking for in a potential family?
