Department Overview:

Wisconsin Academy Basketball is a competitive AAU program based in Madison, WI, with 30+ teams across our boys and girls programs. We take pride in creating a family-oriented environment that supports athlete growth, emphasizing long-term development, high-level training, strong fundamentals, basketball IQ, and accountability while preparing players to compete at the next level.

Schedule:
  • One or two 1.5-hour practices per week at our Stoughton or Verona gym facilities.
  • You choose which night of the week practice is held & at what time
  • 6-8 total tournaments pending, which grade level you are coaching at

Salary/Wage Range:

 Lump Sum $1,000.00 to $1,500.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Wisconsin Academy Basketball
Location: Madison, WI

Wisconsin Academy Basketball is seeking motivated and reliable AAU Basketball Head Coaches to lead some of our competitive AAU teams.

Responsibilities include: leading practices and games, developing athletes, managing game strategy, and maintaining clear communication with players, families, and program leadership.

Season Details:

  • Late March through early July

  • 6–8 total tournaments

  • Minimum of one practice per week

Qualifications: prior basketball coaching experience (AAU/high school or youth levels preferred), strong knowledge of the game, ability to lead and connect with athletes, and dependable availability for practices and weekend tournaments.

Compensation: $1,000–$1,500, based on experience
