Mission Respite connects caring individuals with incredible kids to provide non-medical respite for families with a child with special needs. We provide respite care for families across Dane County.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Mission Respite is looking for dependable, compassionate individuals looking to make a difference in the life of a child with special needs.  As a Respite Companion you will enage with a child in their home or out in the community, having fun.  By providing non-medical respite care for a child with special needs, you will provide an opportunity for the parent/primary caregiver a break from the demanding role of caregiving.  Plus you will provide companionship to this Incredible Kid!

Part-time, flexible scheduling with a minimum of 8 hours per week, up to 32 hours per week.  $18-20 per hour plus weekly pay.  

Activities you could participate in include: being active outdoors, crafts, thrifing, baking, playing games, swimming, reading, teaching and building a rewarding relationship.  We strive to match you with an Incredible Kid with similar interests and availability.

- must pass background check and interview process

- reliable transportation is required, very few of our families are located on the bus line
