Schedule:

M-F, ~9-4 most weeks and 7:30-5 about 1 week/month. 

Option to split between two people, each taking 2-3 days/week

Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are seeking a responsible, energetic summer nanny for two great kids (ages 11 and 8) in Middleton, WI. 

Details:

  • Weekday childcare with some variability in daily hours
  • Approximately 1 week per month may include longer days due to parent's work schedule as a hospital-based physician (known in advance)
  • Option for full time or part time (e.g., 2-3 days/week; shared with a second hire)

Responsibilities:

  • Driving kids to camps, activities, playdates
  • Preparing simple meals and snacks
  • Planning age-appropriate activites at home and outdoors (there's a park in our neighborhood, we're on a bike trail, and have a membership at one of the local pools, local library)
  • Light child-related tasks (assisting them with laundry and tidying shared spaces)

Pay:

  • $20+/hour, depending on experience
  • Mileage reimbured
  • Guaranteed minimum hours

Qualifications:

  • Experience with school-age children
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Non-smoker
  • Dependable and communicative
  • Patient and caring
