Position Summary/Job Duties:

Nakoma Golf Club is seeking motivated and professional individuals to join our Golf Department as Golf Shop & Outside Services Assistants. Nakoma is a private club in Madison known for providing an elevated golf experience, and our staff play an important role in delivering exceptional service to our members and guests.

Responsibilities include greeting members, assisting with golf bag handling, staging carts, maintaining the practice facility, helping with golf shop operations, and keeping all areas clean and organized. Employees are expected to demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong customer service mindset.

This position is ideal for UW students interested in golf, hospitality, business, or working in a high-level service environment. Flexible scheduling is available, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications:

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Reliable and punctual

Ability to work in a team environment

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

Strong customer service and communication skills

Interest in golf is helpful but not required

Previous customer service or hospitality experience is a plus

Physical Demands

 Must be able to lift golf bags, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
