Position Summary/Job Duties:

Part-Time Babysitter / Family Helper (6–10 hrs/week)

We are a warm, organized family in Fitchburg looking for a responsible, reliable college student to help care for our 7‑year‑old daughter and assist with light household tasks. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys kids and wants a flexible, part-time role during the school year. We value clear communication, consistency, and being flexible around academic schedules.

Schedule:

  • Approximately 6–10 hours per week
  • Weekday afternoons and early evenings (specific days flexible and can be set around your class schedule) with occasional time on weekends

Responsibilities include:

  • Watching and engaging with a 7-year-old after school
  • Driving to and from activities (car required)
  • Light household support such as folding laundry, tidying common areas, and occasional grocery pick-ups
  • General “extra set of hands” support for a busy family

Qualifications:

  • Experience babysitting or working with children
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Responsible, dependable, and organized
  • Comfortable managing simple household tasks independently
  • Non-smoker

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)

Bonus but not required:

  • Previous nannying, camp counseling, teaching, or childcare experience
