Schedule:

Flexible hours based on your schedule. 

  • Ability to work any number of hours between 7:30am – 5:00pm Monday - Friday. 
  • Availability of 30 hours a week preferred during the 2026 Summer months 
  • Availability of 10 - 20 hours a week required during 2026-2027 Fall and Spring semesters 
  • Priority will be given to students who have availability for Summer 2026 and Academic Year 2026-2027. 

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $15.00 to $15.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

This position provides administrative and operational support to the Executive Recruitment team within the Office of Human Resources. The role offers hands-on experience in talent acquisition and executive search processes, with exposure to high-level recruitment strategy, candidate coordination, and confidential HR operations.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and organize recruitment and candidate files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist with auditing search files and required documentation for compliance
  • Support scheduling and coordination of candidate interviews and meetings.
  • Create, update, and manage recruitment-related forms and materials
  • Enter and maintain data in HR and applicant tracking systems
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Executive Recruitment team.
  • Assist with correspondence and communication with candidates and stakeholders
  • Support special projects and other business office duties assigned

Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of attention to detail, especially when handling confidential information
  • Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and independently

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

A good candidate for the Student Office Assistant position must have the following skills and abilities: 

  • Effective communications skills. 
  • Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to apply judgement and analysis to work performed 
  • Attention detail 
  • Ability to work with a team and independently 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint 
  • Must be an enrolled technical, undergraduate, or graduate student 

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Prior office and/or data entry experience
