Position Summary/Job Duties:

Our son is a joyful, energetic, and adventurous 3-year-old. While he has complex medical needs, he doesn't let that slow him down! He is a huge fan of Paw Patrol, loves exploring the outdoors, enjoys water activities, and thrives on trips to the local park.

We are looking for a caregiver who is not just a "sitter," but a true play partner. Your primary focus will be:

  • Engaging him in safe, adventurous play (indoors and outdoors).
  • Supervising activity to ensure his medical safety while encouraging his independence.
  • Following through with play-based activities that align with his developmental goals.
  • Providing a reliable, consistent presence that our family can count on.

Why Apply?

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in pediatric healthcare, special education, or therapy (PT/OT/Speech), as you will be supporting a child who is currently active in all three services as well as Birth-3 and CLTS..

This position offers hands-on experience in a home-based setting. Because our son is currently enrolled in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Food Therapy, and Speech, this role provides a unique opportunity to see how these interventions help a child grow and develop.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience working with children with disabilities or complex medical needs is preferred but not required
  • Reliability: Punctuality and consistency are essential for our son's routine
  • Mindset: Patient, caring, proactive, and genuinely interested in our son’s development.
  • Physicality: Must be comfortable playing outside and keeping up with an active toddler.
