Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Asphalt Sealcoating and Line Striping Crew Member, where your energy and attention to detail will help transform outdoor surfaces into safe, durable, and visually appealing spaces. In this role, you will be actively involved in applying sealcoat to asphalt surfaces to protect against weather and wear, as well as meticulously line striping parking lots, private roads, driveways and other paved areas. Your enthusiasm will contribute to completing projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to develop hands-on skills within a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare asphalt surfaces by cleaning, repairing cracks, and ensuring proper conditions for sealcoating and striping applications Apply sealcoat using brush methods to protect asphalt surfaces from elements and extend their lifespan
- Accurately measure and mark parking spaces, traffic lanes, and other designated areas for line striping using specialized equipment.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, equipment, and materials throughout the project duration
- Follow all safety protocols and construction site procedures to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and team members
Requirements
- Prior experience with motorized blowers and brooms is a plus but will train the right person - Help load and unload gear from truck and trailer with tools and materials each morning.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Willingness to learn how to Fix Cracks - Apply seal coat - Paint Lines - If you have 1 or 2 years of striping or sealing experience, that is a major plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record ; paid travel time from our location in Sun Prairie to and from jobsite.
- Painting or Sealcoating experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is essential. Join us in delivering top-quality asphalt maintenance services!
