Position Summary/Job Duties:
Responsibilities include:
Follow SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and maintain lab documentation, Provide accurate, timely and quality packaging of bovine semen in accordance with ABS standards.
Learn other ancillary processes throughout the production lab as business needs necessitate.
Adhere to proper cleaning, sanitation and sterilization protocols for all processing and collection equipment.
Provide ideas for improvement in the work environment.
Communicate issues to appropriate personnel (leads, supervisors, manager, support group.
Perform all assigned duties based on daily production needs.
Follow safe work procedures and report any incidents.
Perform other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: (required)
Must possess or working toward a High School diploma or equivalent.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Ability to list/transfer 50 lbs. occasionally.
Strong attention to detail and focus on always maintaining the highest level of quality.
Ability to perform basic math skills.
Ability to utilize a computer, keyboard, and mouse to accomplish work tasks (includes but is not limited to the ability to look at computer monitor screens for the entirety of assigned shift).
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Experience within a production laboratory setting is preferred.
Working Conditions:
Stand for extended periods of time.
Monitor equipment and computer for prolonged periods of time.
Exposure to chemicals occasionally (PPE is provided).
