Department Overview:

Storybook Ballet is a niche children's ballet school that has been in operation since 2000. Our philosophy is unique in that we focus on the love of dance while intertwining fairytales and a touch of magic! We are nestled in the lower level of glamorous Hilldale - offering our families a warm and inviting atmosphere each week. Each class is approached with thought and each lesson plan is crafted with a balance of education of the art form and the joy of movement. We have five levels of classes for ages 3-10 years.

Schedule:

We are seeking an Assistant Ballet Teacher(s) for the following times:

  • Wednesdays 10:45am-12:00pm
  • Thursdays 1:15-2:30pm
  • Thursdays 3:45-6:15pm
  • Fridays 3:45-7:00pm

 

Salary/Wage Range:

 Hourly $15.50 to $16.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Storybook Ballet is seeking an Assistant Ballet Teacher to provide hands-on corrections, demonstrate, and engage with our young students, and communicate with parents and families. 

Qualifications:

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of classical ballet training and experience working with children.

Physical Demands

 Demonstrating beginning classical ballet movements and providing hands-on help to our young students.
