Department Overview:

Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of the after-school program; ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities, games, and projects
  • Manage behaviors to promote positive play and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols including first aid procedures and childcare regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incident reports, and daily communication with parents/guardians.

Schedule:

Mondays through Fridays 2:45pm to 5:30pm

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $16.00 to $20.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

We want to provide a social atmosphere that allows all campers to feel safe and comfortable! Our after school program provides crafts, activities, and snack for our campers!

Qualifications:

  • Classroom management skills combined with behavior management experience
  • Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings such as daycare, early childhood education programs, and camp settings.
  • Prior leadership experience in youth programs or camp environments is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and special education needs to support diverse learners
  • Strong communication skills
