Position Summary/Job Duties:
Companionship, assisting him through daily activities - walking, biking, bowling, lunch, watching sports, brain games. He does all ADLs at this time. Driver's license needed, we provide a car. You must be able to get to our home on the far west side of Madison (10 mins from bus stop). Bike not essential, but would be preferred so that you can ride with him. Mondays 8:30-4. Fridays 8-4:30. Can do just Mondays, just Fridays or both. Start date 9/4/2026. You do not need to work Labor Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day.
Qualifications:
Energetic, calm, patient and able to roll with the ups and downs of a man with Alzheimer's. An interest in sports would be nice, but not essential. Driver's license to be able to drive our car to activities.
