Position Summary/Job Duties: | About us:
We are an easy-going outdoorsy couple who enjoy cooking, live music, and hiking/running. We live in the Westmoreland neighborhood, less than 5 minutes walk from the Sequoia library. We are expecting boy girl twins in Jan/Feb 2027 and are looking for a nurturing, dependable nanny to care for them beginning in May 2027.
Responsibilities will include feeding and bottles, diapering, supporting nap routines, introducing age-appropriate play and developmental activities, completing light baby-related household tasks (bottles/dishes, baby laundry, toy pick-up, etc.), coordinating with parents, and overall providing safe, nurturing care for our two little ones.
We have a parent working from home and will be available for support as needed, while allowing our nanny to take the lead with the babies during the day. We also have two goldendoodles (7 and 11 years old), so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable sharing their workday with fluffy coworkers! No significant pet care is expected, but being comfortable around dogs is a must.
We can be flexible both on hours (part or full time) and duration of the position. We would prefer care M-F from morning to late afternoon, starting May 2027. We’re hoping to find someone interested in a consistent, longer-term position who can grow with our family as the twins move through their first year and beyond. [Optional: We would also love to find someone who is occasionally available for evenings or date nights.]
About you:
You’re a nurturing, communicative, patient, and reliable caregiver with previous experience caring for infants. Experience with twins, multiples, or caring for two infants at once is a big plus! We hope you genuinely enjoy the baby stage and will prioritize safety, development, and fun while balancing the needs and routines of two little ones. Bonus if you have experience or education in early childhood development, nursing, or another child- or medical-related field.
We value great communication and want to make sure you feel supported and comfortable in your role caring for our babies. We’re hoping to find someone who feels like a trusted addition to our family, and we can’t wait to meet you!
Please send a brief overview of your childcare experience, interest in the position, and availability to westmorelandtwinnannyjob@gmail.com
