We’re looking for a responsible, warm, and dependable person to spend regular weekday time with our delightful 2-year-old son and become someone he knows and trusts.

We may have some flexibility with the specific days/times depending on your availability, so we’re happy to talk about what could work.
Afternoon option: A big bonus would be someone who can pick him up from daycare on Madison’s East Side in their own car and bring him home for his nap. A safe driving record and appropriate car seat/vehicle setup would be required.

Pay: $15–18/hour depending on experience. See below for option to make $20/hr.
There may also be opportunities for occasional weekend babysitting as an add-on, but our primary need is someone who can commit to a regular weekday schedule.
One additional employment option: Depending on eligibility and your interest, there may be an opportunity to work through a local respite-care agency. In that arrangement, the agency would employ you as a W-2 employee and handle payroll/taxes, and the hourly rate would be higher. We’re happy to explain how that arrangement works when we connect — it’s simply an alternative to being paid directly by our family.
