Ideally Monday-Friday approximately 2:45-5:45  (we can potentially be flexible if only available 3-4 days per week)

 Hourly $22.00 to $25.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are a busy, active, and friendly family based in the south end of Waunakee with two fun-loving boys (ages 5 & 7).   My husband and I work full time in downtown Madison, and we're looking for help with after school care for our two boys.   

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Our boys will arrive home from the bus around 3PM. 
  • Help our boys transition from school to home.   Provide snacks, assist with light homework sheets/flash cards, play and/or prepare them for any upcoming evening sports activities (typically 1 day per week)
  • Occassionally driving to nearby sports acitvities in Waunakee 
  • Start dinner for kids
  • Light household clean up after snacks and help manage kids to put away back packs & pick up their toys after use

THE IDEAL APPLICANT: 

  • Reliable, punctual, and strong communicator
  • Engaging and fun-loving approach with children - our boys love staying active and any sort of craft, science, or building projects!
  • Prior childcare experience (babysitting, teaching, camp counselor, etc)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (some transportation with children will be necessary)
